Concept of Creative City

The definition of "Creative City" refers to successful cities that integrate environmental, economics, management, innovation and technology into the city life by bringing them together and following the requirements of the eras and applying these concepts practically to city life. In this sense, creative cities are defined as successful cities.

The concept of "Creative City" was first used by Charles Landry for the city of Glasgow in the 1970s. The actual appearance of the universal area was realized in 2004 with the formation of the UNESCO Creative Cities Network.
